Tools/websites to help your fishing trips!

Sorry I have not blogged lately:( been busy in life and work.
Did get out Monday evening for a couple of hours on the Warrior river. Caught a dozen between 2 of us. Nothing large but lots of fun. Most were spots coming off floating worms and brushhogs. Hope to get out again in a day or 2.

The main reason for this post is to show some of the sites I use to help me plan my fishing trips, Tournaments, etc..

1- WaterWatch. The "Real-time streamflow" map tracks short-term changes (over several hours) in rivers and streams. Although the general appearance of the map changes very little from one hour to the next, individual sites may change rapidly in response to major rain events or to reservoir releases.
The map depicts streamflow conditions as computed at USGS streamgages

2-Barometric Pressure and weather patterns.
Awesome weather data for the whole county

3- angling-technologies Mapping site that is angler friendly.

4-Free online Topo maps.
I use this one alot also.

I'll leave you with a hog caught last june. right at 10, hit a Bandit flatmax in a foot of water. mucho fun. Can't wait to beat that one this year.
